10:13am 28th July 2014

Wyke Coastguard Rescue Officers attended a report of a dog that had been chased over a cliff at the bottom of the owners garden by a deer and was stuck in thick undergrowth.

The owner had attempted to rescue the dog but had become stuck in brambles himself and had to abandon the attempt.

The Coastguards managed to cut a way through to the dog, a Yorkshire Terrier named Pebbles, which was then reunited with its owner.
