Business Booms In Bridport Alleyways

Bridport Sign

8:23am 3rd August 2014

Many businesses in Bridport are celebrating decades, or even hundreds of years of business, but a local antiques centre in the town is proud to be three years young!

Despite The Alleyways Bridport Antiques Centre opening in the middle of the recession, the business has grown from housing 18 to 45 traders in that time.

The business originally opened as The Antiques, Vintage and Collectors Emporium five years ago on St. Michael's Trading Estate, and in August 2011 it was bought and re-named.

The centre has not only been a place for the public to explore. Homes, B&Bs, hotels and restaurants have also been furnished by the traders, with items also used as props on theatre and film sets.
