Dorset firms have exported nearly £132 million worth of goods in the last year up by 25% from the year before.
The increase with the help of Dorset Chamber Of Commerce and Industry which represents about 700 businesses, employing 37,000 people across Dorset includes clothing, manufacturing, marine technology and specialised engineering.
One of the companies in Dorset which supplies vocal pastilles for singing stars including Sir Tom Jones, Kelly Jones of the Stereophonics and Katherine Jenkins has seen exports rocket from 30,000 packets in 2012 to 300,000 today.
International trade services manager Rob Booth said "Companies in Dorset are playing a key role in driving growth in the county and helping to reduce the UK's trade deficit."
The Chamber is now expanding its services and support after re-launching its Export Documentation department as International Trade Services.
