Dorset Ice-Cream Company In County Show Scoop

Purbeck Ice Cream has won an exclusive contract to supply its delicious frozen wares at the Dorset County Show this September, in a range of innovative flavours.
Based in the Purbeck Hills near Corfe Castle, the company has been supplying ice cream to the Fair for two decades. From a small operation that began with a small freezer in the back of a Land Rover, Purbeck Ice Cream has grown into a nationwide success story.
But the association with the Fair has helped the company stay true to its local roots, according to co-founder Hazel Hartle.
'Dorset is very much part of Purbeck Ice Cream's heritage. We want our customers to experience the real flavour of our lush, rich and fragrant Dorset countryside when they buy Purbeck Ice Cream.'
The company's range includes old favourites like vanilla and clotted cream flavours - along with some more unusual tastes such as chilli, watercress and Dorset Blue Vinney cheese.
All of Purbeck Ice Cream's products are made with fully natural ingredients, freshly sourced from Dorset farms.
The Dorset County Show takes place on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th September at the Showground in Dorchester.
