A Level Results Day In Dorset

A levels Weymouth College

7:44am 14th August 2014

The nervous wait is over for thousands of students across Dorset who will be getting their A-Level results today.

Students who want to continue their studies will have more options this year.

The Government has made an extra 30,000 university places are on offer.

It's the first stage of the lifting of a cap on student numbers - which will be abolished next year.

It means universities are competing for students - with some offering scholarships and even free tablet computers.

Wessex FM news will be at Weymouth College this morning to talk to some students there to see how they've done
