Giant Squash Guarded Ahead Of Show

Maiden Newton's green fingered growers are guarding their Tromboncino's ahead of Sundays annual summer show at Maiden Newton Village Hall.

The gigantic italian squash can grow up to 6 feet long.

The grand finale of the Tromboncino summer growing experience will culminate in the spectacular summer show  

Judges will also be judging amongst other things local fruit, vegetables, flowers, cakes, jams and photography

The show runs from 1.30pm until 4pm and admission is free.
