A 10 day contemporary arts festival which takes an alternative view of Portland starts today.
The b-side festival will be a mix of live art, visual art, sound, film and installation.
Many events are taking place including a lullaby delivered by bike, art at the bus stop, a seaside puppet show with a twist and a debate with a rabbit on Portland.
Artists have been researching the area, collecting ideas and meeting Portland residents who have contributed to many of the new artworks being created.
Amongst the people taking part in the event will be Alistair Gentry who will be exploring folklore around Portland and will be talking to local people and festival visitors.
Paul Soulellis has spent time gathering stories, photographs, artwork, poetry and other interesting material from Portland and Tim Spooner has created a puppet show set against a backdrop of the sea.
