9:02am 5th September 2014

Worried onlookers called 999 yesterday after watching a paraglider crash into the sea at Studland.

The man appeared to suffer engine failure.

The National Trust called the Police to say that the glider appeared to be ok.

They kept watch while he cleared the water and were able to confirm that he hadn't suffered any injuries.
