Book Launch For Weymouth Author
10:10am 6th September 2014
Book in for a good read at the Chesil Beach centre this afternoon.
Laura E.James is one of four local writers taking part in an 'authors' afternoon'.
Laura's just launched her first paperback, 'Follow Me, Follow You', a romance set in Weymouth and Portland and featuring Chesil Beach.
Along with Kathy Sharp, Kate Kelly and Carol Hunt, local authors known as Littoralis, Laura writes books inspired by the beautiful county of Dorset. She says, ‘Readers familiar with the area will definitely recognise the places in the book.’
Of the event itself? ‘All four authors will be there, giving readings and looking forward to meeting and chatting with everyone who attends.’
‘The Dorset Wildlife Trust has been very generous in supporting the launch and I would urge those who attend to take the time to visit the centre and find out more about our wonderful coastline. I’m sure any donation will be greatly appreciated and thankfully received by the Trust.’
With books for children, young adults, fantasy and romance lovers available for purchase and signing by the four members of Littoralis, there will be something for everyone.
