Weymouth College Students Spell Out ''Vision For Weymouth''
8:11am 20th September 2014
Here at Wessex FM we've been asking you what your future vision is for Weymouth?
As the Borough Council's consultation on how the town could be improved comes to an end, we've talked to students at Weymouth College to find out what they think Weymouth needs.
Jay is in her second year of A levels. She told Wessex FM what she thinks of the town.
"It (Weymouth Town Centre) could definitely do with some rebuffing. Some of the buildings are a little bit shabby. There's quite a lot of nasty graffiti in the back alleys. It would be nice to have a revamp of the streets."
We also spoke to Holly who is in the second year of her A-levels.
She told Wessex FM what she would like to see;
"There isn't a lot of things for students to do. Especially students that are on a budget and living with parents. There's not a lot of things to do in the winter. It just goes dead and it can get a little bit boring."
