Royalty Wades Into Charles Street Debate
7:56am 30th September 2014
It seems royalty has now waded into the debate surrounding the Charles Street Development in Dorchester.
The Earl of Wessex, Prince Edward visited the county town yesterday to officially open the new council offices.
West Dorset District Council Chairman Gillian Summers told Wessex FM the town's new library wasn't the only talking point of the day:
"He asked a lot of questions about the new development in Charles Street. He seemed to think that would work really well."
"He was really friendly and chatty and pleased to meet everyone."
