There's criticism over a lack of publicity into a consultation on the impact to changes to the provision of mental health services in Dorset.

Bridport's Hughes Unit Support Group says its only just become aware of a questionnaire which service users and carers can complete.

The study is by the University of West England and asks about people's experiences before and after mental health units were closed in April 2013.

HUGS are calling for the deadline to complete the questionnaires to be extended to the end of October.

They say its vital as many people as possible are able to respond.
