Dorset Facebook Campaign Gets Lots Of "Likes"

The Facebook campaign for Visit Dorset is exceeding expectation after its first major promotion for the county.
The page got over 5,000 new likes and was seen by more than a million people during the six week drive.
Users can keep up-to-date with everything that's happening in the area and it offers visitors the chance to get involved with competitions to win short breaks, see top attractions and enjoy activity experiences.
West Dorset District Council Leisure & Tourism Manager Nick Thornley told Wessex FM;
"A campaign like this just shows the power of social media and people's love of Dorset as a leading visitor destination".
