EXCLUSIVE - Weymouth School Children Targeted On Social Media

Wessex FM has learnt that Budmouth College is on high alert after someone is using social media to target children at the school.

Dorset Police say they've received a report of what they're calling "inappropriate" communication via Facebook to youngsters at Budmouth.

The Police say they're working closely with the school to investigate the incident and identify potential victims.

In the meantime they've issued some online safety advice.

- Do not accept friend requests from strangers including friends of friends

- Check your privacy settings regularly so that only you and your friends can see posts on your wall.

- If you receive images make sure you tell an adult straight away.
