Carers from across the county are seeking out the support of a new help group in Dorchester.
Carers Moving Forward was launched last month by Enid Evans.
Her husband was taken into residential care and she felt there was no help group for loved ones left at home.
She says lots of people have been in touch;
"I have had lots of phone calls particularly from the Bridport area, but also as far afield as Salisbury, Havant and Winchester. I even had a family come down from Malborough to speak to me last week."
Enid says she needs some help to deal with the demand;
"What I am desperately looking for is volunteers to help out on the day and a secretary who has I.T."
Their next meeting is on Thursday morning at Acland Road Day Centre.
