Two teenage girls from Bridport have had medical treatment after taking an illegal class A drug.
The 15-year-olds were at a Halloween Party in a field, just outside Bridport on Friday night, when they were given a substance called 25i.
One of the girls was still suffering from hallucinations last night.
Inspector Mike Darby says he's concerned that the drug is being distributed in the town;
"A few months ago we had a couple of reported cases were girls were hospitalised from taking a drug called 2Ci. This 25i drug from what we understand is a more potent version of the drug and we really need to track down the person who is selling it. It's a Class A drug so classed the same as cocaine in the eyes of the law, and we need to stop it before people get seriously injured or killed."
"The people who are taking these drugs, they don't know what they are taking. There have been reported deaths in America in relation to taking this drug and we want to find out who is distributing this in the Bridport area."
