There's been another twist in the Weymouth Post Office saga.
The branch in St Thomas Street reopened this morning under a temporary post master.
But Wessex FM has learnt a legal challenge has since arisen between the landlord and the former tenant, which has led to a further closure.
A spokesman for the Post Office has told Wessex FM they hope the closure will be brief and the branch will be reopen again soon.
"While sometimes issues outside of our control can impact on service, we want to assure residents that we are committed to maintaining our physical presence in Weymouth.
"We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the brief temporary closure of the branch, and thank the Abbotsbury Road and Dorchester Road Post Office services for taking on extra custom."
On Saturday customers were greeted with a notice at the St Thomas' Street site that the locks had been changed due to unpaid rent.
It's understood there had been a dispute between the landlords and operator Smartpost.
Simon Thompson from Dorset Community Action, speaking to Wessex FM yesterday, said: "We're being assured by Post Office Limited that they're doing everything they can to get the branch reopened and we'll hold them to that.
We're very confident they sort this out and we can have the post office open again before the end of this week."
