Reserve Soldiers Show Their Strength On The Lulworth Ranges

Reserve soldiers from The Royal Wessex Yeomanry will be driving Challenger Main Battle Tanks as part of a live firing exercise on the Lulworth Ranges today (14th Nov).

They'll be demonstrating their ability to provide armoured support to the UK's Rapid Reaction Force.

The exercise will involve reserves from units based in Dorset, Devon, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

It’s the first time the Challenger 2 Battle Tanks taking part will be manned by reserves.
