Local businesses are being given the chance to have their say on plans to improve Weymouth as part of the Borough Council's 'Masterplan' for the area.
The second phase of consultation is taking place this morning at the Pavilion. Local companies will discuss ideas including how to improve the area around Weymouth train station.
The borough council has committed £100,000 to investigate how sites can be developed as part of the plan.
They've already found some common themes from feedback, but there's also been disagreement about how to implement these changes.
Brief holder of Economic Development Councillor Ray Nowak said: "We certainly need to smarten up the approach to the town and attracting small businesses.
"The conflict is between car parking, housing and retail and how you get those sorts of segments in the right place."
The consultations are ongoing and a broad plan will be set out before the council at the start of the New Year.
