Local Ballet Dancers Need Your Biscuit Wrappers

8:51am 20th November 2014

Next time you're dunking a biscuit into a cup of tea just remember that the waste wrapper can help fund ballet and dance in our area.

Dorchester Ballet and Dance are taking part in a national recycling contest to help raise money for their activities and keep the environment clean.

They get 4p for every biscuit wrapper recycled and they're asking people to help out by donating theirs to the group's collection box at the Swan Centre in Poundbury Industrial Estate.
There are £500 in charity donations on offer including a top prize of £125 to the winning location.

The competition closes on the 15th December, 2014.
