A new idea's been launched on how to get quick feedback from people in Weymouth and Portland on plans that will directly affect them.
The Weyforward Wire allows people to give comments online.
But they're also encouraged to share information with friends and family who haven't got access to the internet.
Weyforward who are an action group behind the idea think it will be a useful tool to help everyone in the two towns feel positive about the future.
100 people have signed up onto the list so far since its been launched.
Amy Hopwood who's one of the people behind the idea says it could be a really useful tool.
"Obviously one of the key things we want to talk about is the plans for the regeneration in Weymouth. But we do want the wire to be used by other community groups and the council, when they have things they need quick answers about."
"The people of Weymouth and Portland have plenty of opinions about all sorts of things. And we wanted to make sure it was quick and easy for them to have their say but to make sure we were collecting the data in such a way it could be used to help inform the planning process, so its good quality data we are getting."
