Man Dies After Collapsing At Wheel In Lyme Regis.

A man's died after collapsing at the wheel of his car before driving into two pedestrians and a shop in Lyme Regis.

The man, who was 70, was driving along Silver Street with his 75 year old wife as passenger, when he lost control, and his blue ford focus car mounted the pavement in Broad Street, colliding with two people before ending up in the shop 'Love and Wander'.

Despite attempts to resuscitate him, the man, who lived locally, died at the scene. . The pedestrians suffered minor injuries in the incident which happened at about 3pm yesterday.

Any witnesses should contact Dorset police using 101 or crimestoppers
