Weymouth Fisherman's Lifesaving Safety Device Sold

A device that saves lives at sea invented by a Weymouth fisherman is being sold to a fishing community in Somerset.
Hugh Cox's pouch contains a personal locating beacon is designed to stay on sailors even if they fall overboard to make sure they can be found.
He said the invention is vital for people in his line of work.
He told Wessex FM: "Especially for lone fishermen if you go over the side then you've lost contact with the boat, radio phone. This is on you permanently. This is absolutely essential for lone fishermen.
