Wood Farm Caravan and Camping Park in Charmouth's raised nearly £4,000 for Weldmar Hospicecare Trust as its Charity of the Year for 2014.
This is the third year the Park has chosen to support a charity, by asking all their customers to make a £1 donation as part of their booking.
Park manager Adrian Mowbray got his running shoes on and completed the London Marathon for Weldmar in an impressive 5 hours and 15 minutes, raising £1,200.
Adrian said; "With the continued support of customers we more than tripled this amount to £3,947, to make 2014 the most successful year's fundraising for us to date".
Jon Panton, Business Fundraiser for Weldmar said "We were very grateful that Wood Farm chose to support Weldmar for the second time, and that Adrian took on such an arduous challenge in our name. This money goes directly towards providing free of charge care for people and their loved ones with life limiting diseases across the majority of Dorset, in their own homes, our Day Care Centres and Joseph Weld Hospice".
