Christmas Cheer To Fill Bridport Tonight
9:00am 3rd December 2014
Roasting chestnuts, a snow queen parading on a reindeer pulled sleigh and - of course - Santa giving out presents in his grotto are all part of the festive fun at Bridport's Christmas Cheer today (3rd December).
The event supported by Wessex FM is bigger than ever and is taking place from 3:30pm-8pm with live music at three different venues and a range of stalls keeping the thousands of people attending entertained.
Town Surveyor and organisers Daryl Chambers said: "We started our first meeting in January and we've been meeting regularly every month. We've got a fantastic committee to lead on this. They've all been working their socks off!"
"We've been doing this for about eight years now but we're looking to make this one bigger and better than ever."
There'll also be a range of stalls open to help with any Christmas shopping needs as well as the chance to get some locally reared meats too.
If you fancy adding the personal touch to your gifts, there's a craft fair at the Art Centre in Bridport Town Hall.
And of course the Wessex FM team will be there!
