The future of one of the last pub's in Wyke Regis hangs in the balance.
Both developers and campaigners fighting over what do with the Ferrybridge Inn have now had their say.
New plans have been put forward to turn the pub into homes and a restaurant, but protestors say it's a key part of their community.
The company behind the plans claims the redevelopment is the only option because the pub is in such bad condition, but protestors have collected over 640 signatures on a petition, as well as getting a further 170 letters of objection against the development.
Kenneth Porter is one of the campaigners and says they'll keep fighting till the bitter end.
He told Wessex FM: "Unfortunately, these developers keep trying and trying and they usually prevail because every time they try the opposition weakens. But we won't give up fighting till they start knocking the pub down."
Similar plans were brought before the council two years ago but were rejected over concerns about their design and size.
