CAB Appeals For Funds
8:38am 31st December 2014
After giving advice to nearly 7,000 people in Dorset with the money problems for free, a local charity is asking for a financial helping hand from the public.
There's been a 24 percent increase in the number of people going to Dorchester and Sherborne Citizens Advice Bureaus but the service is facing impending cut-backs in funding.
Bob Kerr from the Bureau says they'll have to scale back the help they offer if they don't find the money.
He told Wessex FM: "We don't want to reduce and cut back if we can't find the funds we're asking for now because the service is a last resort for many people."
The service is asking anyone who is raising money through charity events to consider using the Bureau as their cause.
You can find out how to make donations by contacting the Bureau's manager Daniel Cadisch on 01305 751514 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
