Community Hall Break In On Portland

Dorset Police Car At Night

Offenders smashed their through a glass window before forcing their way into a community hall on Portland.

They broke into the building between 8pm on 14th January and 5pm the following day at The Brackenbury Centre in Fortuneswell but no items were stolen.

Police Constable Neil Fitch, of Weymouth police, said: "This centre is used by many members of the community.

"I am appealing to anyone who has any information relevant to this incident to please get in contact with me.

"All calls will be dealt with in strict confidence."

Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 15:499.
