Row Over Abbotsbury Mobile Phone Mast Plan

A row's broken out over plans to put up a mobile phone mast in the picturesque village of Abbotsbury.
Some campaigners argue it will be an unsightly eye soar - and their current reception is fine.
But Paul Wickham who lives in the village says that's not the case.
He says local farm workers need it to help as a matter of safety.
"The mast may look unsightly - but it's planned to go on the outskirts of the village. From a safety point of view, for all the guys and girls that work out in the farm, on the quads and in tractors, and on the roads here, it would make sense to have a phone signal."
" I came across a car on fire and couldn't ring the emergency services as I didn't have a signal."
"We need better mobile phone reception and we need this mast."
