Cyclist Attacked On Weymouth Town Bridge

A man's been attacked in the middle of the afternoon while cycling over the town bridge in Weymouth.
The incident happened between 4.30pm and 4.45pm on Wednesday 2 May 2012.
Police Constable Rob Adams, of Weymouth Police, said: "The 24-year-old victim was approached by two men, one hit him around the back of the head with some fishing rods and the other punched him in the face.
"This was an unprovoked attacked which left the man with facial injuries."
One offender is white, aged in his early twenties and around five feet nine inches tall, of muscular build, with short brown hair, wearing a black hooded top and black tracksuit trouser. He was riding a gold Specialized mountain bike.
The other offender is white, aged in his early twenties, around five feet nine inches tall, with short ginger hair around grade two in length and a pale complexion. He was wearing grey top and dark trousers and was holding two to three fishing rods.
PC Adams continued: "I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this assault or has any information that can help identify these men.
"All calls will be treated in the strictest of confidence."
