Champagne Stolen From Waitrose In Dorchester

Two expensive bottles of champagne have been stolen from a shop in Dorchester.

The theft happen shortly before 6pm on Tuesday 12 June 2012 from Waitrose in Poundbury.

Police Constable Matthew Shewbridge, of Dorchester police, said: "Officers are keen to speak to any customers who may have witnessed this crime, in particular the man who reported the theft to staff."

Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 12:394.
