Free Car Parking for Arrival of Olympic Torch in South Dorset

Car parking fees have been waived for the arrival of the Olympic Torch in West Dorset.
Thousands are expected to turn out to see the flame pass through Dorchester, Bridport and Weymouth on July 12th.
West Dorset District Council made the decision to open their car parks free of charge to encourage even more people to line the streets and celebrate.
Dorset is the largest Olympic venue outside of London.
Parking will be free all day (from midnight to midnight on 12/7) in council car parks.
In Dorchester, this means car parks will be free at Acland Road, Trinity Street, Durngate Steer, Fairfield Car Park (Market Site, Wollaston Field and Top p' Town (near the Keep Military Museum.
In Bridport charges will be waived at car parks in East Street, West Street. South Street, ykes Court, Rope Walks, the Football Club and Magistrates' Court.
In Lyme Regis, the car parks at Charmouth Road, Cobb Gate, Holmbush, Broad Street, Monmouth Beach and the town council's Woodmea Car Park in Hill Road and Cabanya Car Park, behind Monouth Beach, will be free.
