Cancer Charity Says More People in Dorset Using their Grants for Clothing
1:10pm 5th July 2012
Cancer patients in South Dorset are having to rely on hand-outs to afford basic things like clothing.
New research from Macmillan Cancer Support has found an increasing number of people are spending grants on dressing themselves.
The Charity says the spending trend is down to patients changing body mass, due to treatment and surgeries.
The charity handed out over 8 thousand pounds to patients in our area for clothing in the last year.
