Major Flood Warnings Following Torrential Downpours in Dorchester and Weymouth

Torrential rain continues to batter Dorchester and Weymouth after three inches of rain fell in parts of Dorset overnight (7th July 2012).

Scheduled Armed Forces Day celebrations through Dorchester town centre have had to be abandoned and the parade and events in the Borough Gardens are cancelled.
