4:21pm 9th July 2012

A further warning of more flooding has been issued for parts of Weymouth!

With some areas still struggling to cope after a month’s worth of rainfall fell over the weekend.

The Environment Agency is warning residents and local business owners to be prepared for more.

Ground water levels are on the rise and some localised flooding is starting to occur from springs in more rural areas.

Basements, cellars, garages and low ground floors may be affected. People are warned to be prepared to protect yourself, family, pets and property.

You can call Floodline on 0845 988 1188 for up-to-date flooding information.
