Weymouth's Jurassic Stones Get Night Vision
11:43am 11th July 2012
Weymouth's Jurassic Stones can now be seen at night.
The finishing touches have finally been installed, 2 spotlights, that will illuminate the sculpture when it gets dark.
The stones based near the Jurassic roundabout in Littlemoor are part of a project to spruce up Weymouth in time for the Olympics in less than 20 day's time.
The Jurassic Stones Project, designed by Artist Richard Harris, was commissioned by the Weymouth and Portland Partnership, as part of the overall strategy for artistic enhancements in the borough prior to the Games, with the other key projects being the Weymouth Seafront 'Light Veils' and the community / artist designed deckchairs.
