Man Stabbed In Weymouth

A man has suffered neck injuries after reportedly being stabbed in Weymouth.
The alleged attack happened a week ago on Friday night (6th July).
The 19 year old victim suffered multiple injuries to his neck, ears and arms, after he says; he was attacked by another man outside a house on Louviers Road in Littlemoor.
He had to be taken to Dorset County Hospital for treatment.
Detective Constable Sarah Desmond, of Weymouth CID, said: "This was a serious assault on a young man who was taken to Dorset County Hospital for treatment.
"We would like to hear from anyone who saw the alleged incident or any suspicious activity prior to it happening.
"We are also keen to speak to a man and a woman aged in their twenties that were reportedly seen talking to the victim on a train from Weymouth to Upwey moments before the alleged attack.
"Anyone with information is urged to contact Dorset police in confidence on 101."
The alleged offender is described as a white man in his twenties, around five feet nine inches tall, of heavy build and with short black hair.
A 21-year-old man from Weymouth has been arrested and released on bail.
