Second Body Recovered from Car Crushed in Beaminster Tunnel Landslide

Police can confirm that the bodies of a man and a woman have been recovered from the vehicle that had been buried in the Beaminster Tunnel landslide.
Tributes have been paid to the woman who Rosemary Snell - who was in her 60's - and the man who remains unnamed after they were undiscovered for ten days.
Dorset Police say they had no reason to search the mudslide following the mudslide and only revisited the scene after Avon and Somerset Police asked for help with a missing person’s enquiry.
Ms Snell was an active member of the local Women’s Institute near Crewkerne where she lived.
