Environment Minister Lord Taylor was among thousands of visitors to visit the newly rebuilt Chesil Beach Centre last week.
Lord Taylor was able to see the Centre's first exhibition, 'A Celebration of Dorset's Living Seas'.
A thousand visitors turned up at the Centre on the first day of its reopening.
The new Centre opened on 21st July and includes an education room, exhibition area, shop and a cafe run by Master Chef winner Mat Follas. The building itself has been extended and there is a new boardwalk across the Fleet to get onto the beach.
