Home Raided Whilst Occupant Sleeps in Bridport

A Nokia mobile phone and a Blackberry are amongst items stolen in a burglary at a house in Bridport.

Two handbags were stolen from a property in St Andrews somewhen between half one and half eight on Saturday morning.

Police Constable Neil Gauden of Dorchester Police says entry was gained through an insecure door while the occupant slept.

Dorset police urge us to check all our doors are secure before going to bed to help prevent this type of theft..

He's also asking anyone with information on this burglary to phone Dorset police on 101 or Crimestoppers.
