Council Leader Defends Olympic Preparations For Large Numbers

The leader of Dorset County Council is confident Weymouth and Portland will pick itself up after a slow start during the Olympics.

Local businesses have complained the town's suffering due to an unexpected lull in visitor numbers.

They've blamed organising committees for leading people to believe the area would be PACKED for the Sailing events, putting tourists off coming.
