9:52pm 3rd August 2012
(Updated 12:38pm 6th August 2012)

Two men have been airlifted to hospital with life threatening injuries following a crash on the B3157 coast road near West Bexington.

The 39 year old  driver of the car, a man from Charminster, was taken by the Dorset police helicopter to the Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester, while an 18 year old rear seat passenger was flown by coastgaurd helicopter to Southampton General.

Another 18 year old man and a 5 year old boy recieved minor injuries when a green MG Rover Saloon left the road and rolled, ending up on its roof at about a quarter past eight yesterday evening. Both were initially taken to hospital in Dorchester by road but discharged following treatment.

Police say the car was travelling towards Bridport when it left the road. If you saw what happened or how the car was driven before the accident then dorset police would like to hear from you, by dialing 101 and asking for PC 936 Rogers of the Traffic department.
