Railway Line Victim Named

British Transport Police have named the man who died trying to cross the tracks at Dorchester South railway station on Sunday 19th August, 2012.

24-year-old Joseph Silvey was from Cheltenham in Gloucestershire.

Police say they're treating the incident as non-suspicious and it appears to be a tragic accident.

BTP officers and South Western Ambulance Service Medics were called to the scene after it was reported at 4.19am.

An inquest into Mr Silvey's death has been opened an adjourned.
