Bank Holiday Busy for Coastguards

It's been a busy Bank holiday for emergency services off the Dorset coast.

Amongst the incidents:,

A four year old boy was injured after a rock fell on his leg at Lulworth Cove.

A 16 year old male suffered a head injury aboard the Sea Cadet vessel, Black Tip

A 15 foot speedboat was recovered after drifting around Weymouth Bay. A family on board had managed to get off safely when it drifted on shore at Ringstead Bay.

Kayakers who last two paddles and were adrift  were helped when the paddles were found and returned to them

Coastguards attended a suspicious object on Chesil Beach which was later confirmed as harmless.

And Two people on a raft waving for help off Greenhill beach were brought  back, safe but cold.
