Sign Up For Autumn Beach Clean
8:52am 30th August 2012
Volunteers are needed to take part in a clean-up operation along Dorset's beaches.
The Dorset Autumn Beach Clean is happening on Sunday the 16th September and is organised by the coastal ranger team.
Last year 600 bags of rubbish were collected from beaches around the county.
Volunteers are being asked to come along to the beaches where they will be greeted by a beach master with instructions and equipment - rubbish bags, gloves and a survey form for information on what is collected - to repeat the success of previous beach clean events.
For more information on how and where to volunteer for the beach clean contact Jenny Penney, Purbeck coastal ranger on (01305) 228952 or log on to www.dorsetforyou.com/greatdorsetbeachclean
