Partnership Secures Safety of Trees Planted in Purbeck

The future looks bright for trees planted on Purbeck thanks to a new partnership with the County Council.
Leaders have agreed to share their grounds services with the District Council, meaning Purbeck now has an all-round arboriculture service.
Tree specialists will provide advice on a range of issues, from planning applications to care for existing trees.
It's the first time Dorset Councils have shared arboriculture services and could pave the way for more collaboration between the county's grounds services team and other districts.
Purbeck District Council natural environment minister spokesperson, Councillor Mrs Gloria Marsh, says: "In the current economic climate, working with the county council will ensure we can provide a service that meets the needs of Purbeck residents and businesses."
The agreement is in place until 2017.
