Parking Restrictions Could Be Enforced on Residential Road in Dorchester

Parking restrictions could be enforced on a Dorchester road used by people working in the town.
Residents living on Queens Avenue - just off Weymouth Avenue - complained to the Town Council over too many cars being parked outside their homes.
They say it's causing congestion and blighting the area.
The Council's Chamber has suggested introducing "limited waiting", meaning people will only be allowed to park for a short time. Harsher restrictions are unlikely as the homes along Queens Avenue already have driveways large enough for their own parked cars.
The suggestion has been referred to Dorset County Council who will make a decision at a later date.
