Help Keep Dorset And Somerset Air Ambulance Flying

Air Ambulance 2

10:44am 26th September 2012

It's National Air Ambulance week which means clear the helipad in Bridport.

The Dorset and Somerset helicopter will fly onto Paverlands Farm at 10am this morning (Wednesday 26th September 2012) to kick-start their new awareness campaign.

They've attended over 9,000 emergencies since their launch in March 2000, saving many lives.

It costs the air ambulance £10 pounds per minute to fly and they receive zero government funding. During this week long campaign they're asking people to text "DSAA02 £10" to 70070, that donation will help keep them in the air.
