Police Search For Hero Who Saved Teenager From Mob

Dorset Police is looking for a man who saved a teenager who was being attacked by a mob in Weymouth.
The mystery person left his house to help the 19-year-old who suffered a broken jaw after he was kicked to the ground by a gang of youths.
The incident took place between Newstead Road and Abbotsbury Road junction at around 2am-3am to last Saturday (22nd September 2012).
Police Constable Charlie Forsey, of Weymouth police, said: "I understand that prior to the assault, the victim and his friends had been involved in a verbal altercation with another group of young people."
The main offender is white and aged in his late teens. He is of a slim build and was wearing a grey tracksuit at the time of the attack.
PC Forsey continued: "I understand that a local resident left his house and broke up the assault.
"This man has yet to be identified and I am appealing for him to contact Dorset Police as soon as possible as he may be able to help with my investigation.
