Weymouth Ferry Berth Decision Today
8:05am 2nd October 2012
Council leaders will decide whether or not they can afford to fork out 4 million pounds for the cracked ferry berth (Tuesday 2nd October).
Weymouth and Portland Borough Council are under pressure to repair the harbour wall but it's going cost double what they expected.
Leaders will ask Committee for the extra cash at a meeting later.
If approved sailings could return to the port by March 2013.
The local economy stands to lose £650,000 each year it's out of action.
